PAYMENT INFORMATION

What payment methods are accepted?

At the moment you can check out only with Paypal in our store. For other way of payment please email us at hello@cartergear.com. Alternatively you can also buy our products on Tictail.

Is buying on our website safe?

On our website you check out through Paypal so all your sensitive information is processed through PayPal’s safe payment gateway.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide and it’s free! Please be aware that we don’t cover any eventual duty fees.

How long will it take to get my package?

It all depends on your location, all packages are leaving Romania 1 to 2 working days after placing the order. For European customers, shipping will take around 3-5 working days, outside Europe 5-10 working days.

Damaged during shipment?

If somehow your item comes damaged, write us immediately at support@cartergear.com.

Can’t wait, are there faster shipping methods available?

Yes, in case you don’t want to wait for the regular shipping, we offer faster delivery 1-4 working days depending on where you live. The price of shipping also vary depending on your location. Please notify us at support@cartergear.com ahead or shortly after you placed the order if you wish this service.

Can I update my shipping address?

We will be able to update your shipping address as long as the order has not been processed and dispatched which is usually between 1-2 working days from receipt of order.

ORDERS AND RETURNS

Do I need an account to place an order?

No, you don’t need one.

How do I place an order?

Simply place the items in your cart using ADD TO CART button. You can add or subtract items as you wish, click UPDATE CART button every time you change the quantity. While on you cart page, click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT and you will be redirected to Paypal to do your payment. After you complete the pay, you will receive the confirmation.

How do I track my order?

After your order is being placed for shipment we will send you a confirmation email containing also a tracking code. We usually ship via EMS and it’s delivered through the national post service. Tracking the package works through the national post service too.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. Please email us at support@cartergear.com and let us know you want to cancel, we will setup a refund immediately if your order wasn’t shipped yet. If your order has been already placed for shipping, use the same email and let us know, we will send you instructions.

How can I return a product?

Notify us at support@cartergear.com within 30 days, we will send you instructions. Please be aware that we can only accept your return if the goods are unused and in the original condition.

How can I get refunded?

We hope you understand that if you wear any of our items, certain marks might become visible after a while. Once the goods are returned to us in the original and unused condition we will check them and refund you.

WARRANTY

What is the warranty period?

Warranty period is one year of use in normal condition. If you purchased an item built with vegetable tanned leather you must treat it with care and not expose it to water. If such event might occur, you can lose the warranty and it will be treated as an repair outside warranty. Typically this might just be a light repair (leather surface treatment) and we might require you to just cover the shipment.

Repairs outside warranty?

After the ending of the warranty period, light repairs  will be covered for free except the shipment. This includes: stitching on any suspender, replacing of 1 metallic part, waxing the leather. Any other repair will be evaluated individually, we will try to keep the costs as low and as fair as possible. Please also note that some repairs can easily be done at a local leather repair shop, which will save you some time and hassle.

PRODUCT

Do I need to assemble anything for the holster?

No, you don’t need to. The straps are attached and ready to be used, all you need to do is adjust their length according to your size and comfort. Optionally, the long strap is detachable, you can take it off if you feel it’s on your way or it doesn’t go with your outfit. For more information, check this post.

Magnets for closing, will they harm any device/credit card?

No, the magnets we are using proved to have no effect on any contemporary device or credit card. However, please note that it might damage an old magnetic casette or other magnetic data storage items if it get in contact with the magnets.
